Update: Rockbridge County Sheriff’s Office locates Glasgow man

Update: Wednesday, 10:12 a.m. Adam Christopher Stanley has been located and is safe, according to a report from The Aware Foundation.

 

Original post: Tuesday, 7:34 p.m. The Rockbridge County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing Glasgow man after coming upon an unusual situation while answering a call for service on Tuesday morning.

The sheriff’s office received a call for service at 9:30 a.m. in the 1100 block area of Rockbridge Road in the Town of Glasgow. The caller reported being concerned for the well-being of Adam Christopher Stanley, 43.

Deputies arrived on the scene and discovered unusual circumstances, according to a report from the nonprofit Aware Foundation.

At this time, the owner of the residence, Stanley, has not been located, and the Rockbridge County Sheriff’s Office considers Stanley a missing/endangered person.
