Missing person alert: Hopewell man with dementia reported missing on Monday

Igal Alexander Edwards The Hopewell Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 77-year-old male with dementia.

Igal Alexander Edwards left his home on the 2800 block of Norfolk Street in Hopewell on Monday.

Edwards has dementia and is in need of daily medication.

He left his residence in his 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee (VA Tag UPK3190), which was recovered unoccupied in Prince George County.

Edwards was last seen wearing a gray shirt and khaki pants and has tattoos on his forearms (fish and heart with sword).

He is a retired military veteran who spent time at Fort Gregg-Adams.
