Missing person alert: Charlottesville Police searching for girl last seen on Friday

The Charlottesville Police Department is asking the public for help locating Gianella Arostegui who was last seen leaving school on Friday.

Arostegui was reported as a runaway on Aug. 31.

Arostegui is a Hispanic female described as 5 foot, 3 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds. She has medium-length black hair and brown eyes. She wears a gold necklace with three stars around it.

Her age was not disclosed.
