Missing person alert: Augusta County teen left Grace Christian, whereabouts unknown

augusta county runaway rubino An Augusta County girl has been reported as a runaway, and the Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance locating her.

Journey Josephine Rubino, 17, was last seen Wednesday morning in Staunton at 9:30 a.m.

According to the AWARE Foundation, she left Grace Christian Academy and later withdrew money from a local bank in Staunton. No other information is known on her whereabouts.

She was last seen wearing jeans, a pink sweater and white sneakers.

Her family is concerned for her safety and well-being. The teen is considered a runaway, according to the ACSO.

Rubino is described as a White female, five and a half feet all with brown hair and brown eyes.
