mary baldwin universityProspective undergraduate students are invited to visit Mary Baldwin University with their families July 23–28 for Virginia Private College Week 2018.

“We are so pleased to welcome prospective students and their families to our beautiful campus next week,” said Matthew Munsey, director of admissions. “We’ll showcase MBU’s vibrant community and distinctive strengths, as well as reassure families about the affordability of a private university education.”

A campus tour and information session will be available at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, and at 10 a.m. on Saturday during Virginia Private College Week, starting at the Administration Building on main campus.

The MBU admissions team will give an overview of the admissions process, financial aid, and scholarships, and highlight Mary Baldwin’s academic programs and student life in the Shenandoah Valley. Find more information on visiting MBU here.

Students who visit three participating colleges during the week receive three application fee waivers, which can be used at any college on the list. Plus they are eligible for a drawing for a $500 Amazon gift card.

Twenty-four colleges and universities across Virginia are participating in the week, hosted by the Council of Independent Colleges in Virginia.

Founded in 1842, Mary Baldwin University is a small, coeducational university offering a range of degree programs from bachelor to doctoral. It serves a vibrant student population on its main campus in Staunton, Virginia, at its nearby health sciences campus in Augusta County, online, and through regional advising centers throughout Virginia. All programs are coeducational except the Mary Baldwin College for Women.
