Manny Machado homered in each of the first three innings to power a 10-2 Baltimore Orioles win over the Chicago White Sox on Sunday.
Machado (.307/.366/.557, 25 HR, 67 RBI) hit a two-run homer in the first, a three-run shot in the second and another two-run homer in the third.
Chris Davis (.219/.336/.443, 23 HR, 61 RBI) added a solo shot in the second.
James Shields (5-14, 5.43 ERA, 1.55 WHIP) bore the brunt of the onslaught, charged with eight runs on six hits in an inning and a third in the loss.
Dylan Bundy (5-3, 3.05 ERA, 1.25 WHIP) got the win for the O’s (63-47), giving up two runs on four hits in six innings, striking out nine and walking one.
