Lynyrd Skynyrd at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg this weekend

skynyrdWith guitars wailing and fiery melodies blazing, Lynyrd Skynyrd will unleash their signature brand of Southern style rock on guests at Busch Gardens Williamsburg on July 20. The legendary rock group will perform at the Virginia theme park as part of the park’s Busch Gardens® LIVE concert series presented by Coca-Cola®.

With a catalog of over 60 albums, sales beyond 30 million worldwide and their beloved classic American rock anthem “Sweet Home Alabama” having sold over two million ringtones, Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Lynyrd Skynyrd remains a cultural icon that appeals to multiple generations. But far from resting on their laurels, any illusions that this may be a band at anything less than the height of its powers are quickly lost with the distorted fury of the fiery guitar licks that open the title track on their latest album, Last of a Dyin’ Breed, and further put to rest with the gritty triumphs that follow.

Busch Gardens’ Royal Palace Theatre opens approximately two hours before the scheduled 7 p.m. performance. All Busch Gardens LIVE concerts are included with park admission. For guests’ convenience complimentary tickets are distributed throughout the day at the park’s Guest Relations building. Tickets are distributed one per person on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

All party members must be present to receive tickets. Tickets are required for entry to the concert. Purchase a Concert Dining Combo deal online and enjoy an appetizing dinner from any of the park’s signature restaurants and preferred seating for the show in the Royal Palace Theatre.
