Lynchburg: Heritage High School bomb threat ‘not credible,’ police say

A bomb threat on Tuesday morning at Heritage High School in Lynchburg was “not credible,” according to the police department.

The Lynchburg Police Department investigated the bomb threat at 3103 Wards Ferry Road.

A suspect was quickly identified and a residence was searched in the 700 block of Monroe Street.

No charges have been announced.

The incident remains under investigation.
