Longwood, on the heels of a surprise trip to the NCAA Tournament in the spring, opens its 2024-2025 season with a four-game homestand.

The Lancers’ non-conference schedule, released on Thursday, features eight home games in the Joan Perry Brock Center and seven outside of Farmville, including a trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands for the Paradise Jam on Nov. 22-25.

The month of November is busy, with a host of home games that begins on opening night when the Lancers host Randolph College on Nov. 4.

Longwood then welcomes Morgan State to the Joan Perry Brock Center on Nov. 9 for a major highlight during Homecoming weekend.

The Lancers wrap up the four-game homestand with Milwaukee (Nov. 13) and UT-Martin (Nov. 16) before hitting the road.

A four-game stretch away from home follows, with a trip to Binghamton on Nov. 19 tipping things off.

The team then heads to St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands for the Paradise Jam in the 25th edition of the classic tournament. Longwood will open the tournament on ESPN against fellow March Madness foe UAB on Nov. 22, with two more games to follow over the next few days. Other teams in the field include Liberty, Kansas State, Illinois State, McNeese State, Louisiana and George Washington.

In December, Longwood returns home to host four straight games. To open the month, the Lancers play Regent (Dec. 1) before hosting both the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (Dec. 5) and Mary Baldwin (Dec. 8).

The homestand concludes with a matchup against North Carolina Central on Dec. 14, the first of two meetings between the two teams for a second straight year.

Longwood then closes non-conference play with three straight road affairs, with a trip to former Big South foe Campbell to begin the gauntlet on Dec. 18 and a return trip to North Carolina Central (Dec. 20). One final non-conference tilt awaits afterwards with a trip to SMU on Dec. 28.

The Big South Conference schedule will be released at a later date.
