Grassroots training postponed
A grassroots training program for Valley Democrats that had been scheduled for Saturday, May 9, in Harrisonburg has been postponed.
The program will be rescheduled for a future date, Democratic Party of Virginia political director Don Marks said today.

 

Progress Augusta meeting Tuesday

Progress Augusta, a local chapter of the national Drinking Liberally organization, gives like-minded, left-leaning individuals a place to talk politics. The next meetup is scheduled for Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Irish Alley Restaurant & Pub in Downtown Staunton.

Sixth District Democratic Convention

The Sixth District Democratic Convention is set for Saturday, May 16, beginning at 10 a.m. at Wilson Memorial High School in Fishersville.

Democrats from Augusta County, Staunton and Waynesboro will elect three representatives from the Greater Augusta region to the Sixth District Democratic Committee.
