Liberty FootballLiberty Football has set its annual Spring Game for Saturday, March 30, giving Flames Nation its first look at the team under new head coach Hugh Freeze.

The game is scheduled to kickoff at 1 p.m. at Williams Stadium. The event is free and open to the public with gates opening at 11:30 a.m.

Gates 1 and 7 at Williams Stadium will be open for the scrimmage, with a full Spring Game Festival scheduled in front of Gate 1. Liberty Athletics will also be giving away remaining items from its inaugural season marketing campaign (coins, hats and t-shirts), plus the Flames Football equipment staff will have a station where kids can try on football game day gear.

Liberty students will have an opportunity to enter a raffle for several high-end giveaways, including air pods, an Apple TV, Nike gear, portable speakers and more. Raffle winners will be announced at halftime of the scrimmage.

Additionally, the first 500 2019 football season ticket holders to check in with the Flames Ticket Office during the Spring Game Festival will receive a free Liberty Flames visor.

Following the spring football game, Liberty Athletics will host an autograph session on the Williams Stadium field. All players and coaches will be available for photos and autographs during this 45-minute session and football schedule posters and Sparky posters will be available at the gates prior to the spring game.

The Flames Club will hold a Spring Football Game tailgating event in the Club Pavilion of the Williams Stadium Tower (third floor). All 2018 and 2019 members are invited, but they must purchase tickets for $5 by Monday, March 25 at www.LibertyFlames.com/FlamesClub (click on the “Events” tab) or by calling 434-582-CLUB (2582).
