The multitalented Janice Martin will bring the music of George Gershwin to life Sunday night at the Theater at Lime Kiln in Lexington.

Fascinating Gershwin: A Gershwin Fantasy comes to the stage at Lime Kiln at 7:30 p.m. for a one-night run.

Martin is a vocalist, instrumentalist and dancer who has won rave reviews worldwide.

“I’ve seen Ms. Martin perform everything from grand opera to the ‘Orange Blossom Special,’ and she makes it all seems like it was written for her. If her playing isn’t enough, she also dances like a pixie and sometimes performs martial arts,” said Kim Renz, the executive director of the Theater at Lime Kiln.

For a look at Martin’s show with an orchestra, go to www.janicemartin.com and preview her video.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $22 for seniors and $10 for students.

Gates and concessions open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the Lexington Visitors Center and at Rockbridge Music or by calling 540.463.7088. For more information about all of Theater at Lime Kiln events, go to www.theateratlimekiln.com
