Letter: Vote Neil Kester for Augusta County sheriff

Contributors

neil kesterAugusta County is fortunate to have several good men running for the office of sheriff, but to me one stands out above the rest.  I have known Neil Kester for over 30 years.  He is a dedicated father, husband and family man.  I can attest to his character, determination, ethics and leadership abilities.

Neil has over 23 years of consecutive law enforcement experience.  I believe the versatility he acquired from working in different law enforcement agencies add to his ability to understand what the community is looking for and in need of. The other candidates are all currently employed by the Sheriff’s office.  Unfortunately, Augusta County currently does not have national accreditation, but with Neil’s leadership and the addition of Butch Wells to his team, accreditation should be attained soon.

I believe Neil Kester is in a position to implement a new fresh image for the Sheriff’s Department and he has my complete confidence that he will do a superb job for the citizens of Augusta County and bring back the respect for the Sheriff’s Office and all who work so diligently to keep our community safe.

Everyone should check out Neil’s agenda at www.Kesterforsheriff.com and get out and vote on Nov. 3.
