‘Laughter is Sacred Space’ performance by Ted Swartz

Local actor Ted Swartz’ first book, “Laughter is Sacred Space,” and premiere of his new show of the same name will be at Court Square Theater in Harrisonburg Friday and Saturday, Sept. 14-15, at 7:30 p.m.

He will also have book signings at Bookworks in Staunton Saturday, Sept. 15 at 2 p.m. and at Barnes & Noble in Harrisonburg Sunday, Sept. 16, at 2 p.m.

The book and the show explore Ted’s Mennonite childhood and career path, as well as the grief of losing his best friend and business partner to depression.
