Drivers using Interstate 64, Route 285 (Tinkling Springs Road) and Route 640 (Goose Creek Road) in Augusta County can expect lane and shoulder closures from Sunday, September 11 through Friday, September 16. These will be daytime and nighttime traffic restrictions while contractors perform road and ditch work in the Fishersville area.
- Sunday to Tuesday, September 11-13, northbound and southbound Route 285 will have overnight left lane closures at the I-64 bridge from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Also, the eastbound I-64 off-ramp onto Route 285 will have left-turn lane restrictions from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Tuesday and Wednesday, September 13-14, westbound I-64 from mile marker 92 to 91 will have an overnight left lane and shoulder closure from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Monday to Wednesday, September 12-14, the eastbound and westbound I-64 off-ramps at exit 91 will have right lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Monday to Friday, September 12-16, the on-ramp from Route 285 onto westbound I-64 will have lane and shoulder closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Also, westbound Route 640 just east of Route 285 will have a flagger-controlled lane closure from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
All work is weather permitting.
