November is a great month for the blues … as is the rest of the year and the rest of … ahem, um, winter!

The blues has always been sung to rid people of depression and funky moods. It’s a double negative – kind of the like using stimulants to treat hyperactivity! OK, enough philosophy… this is about Mojo!

Mojo Saturday Night has some VERY exciting things going on ALL winter long, right into warmer days!

November 17 – Emma Leigh, Buddy Thomas and Erin Lundsford and the Smokey Bandits

December 15 – A Very Mojo Christmas with many local artists singing seasonal music

January 20 – TBA

February 16 – Roddy Barnes (this is a solo show with no opening act… just 2 hrs of Roddy!!)

March  16 – Ray Cohen and Bert Carlson

April 20 – Hard Swimming Fish (from NOVA)

So plan now to hang with us once a month and blow away those winter blues and Get Your Mojo Workin!!

Kevin Chisnell is the host of Mojo Saturday Night at the Gateway Theater in Waynesboro.
