JMU adjusts time for Saturday baseball game due to weather

jmu logoThe James Madison baseball team’s Saturday evening matchup against Towson, previously scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Eagle Field at Veterans Memorial Park, has been moved to 1 p.m. on Saturday afternoon in an effort to avoid potential inclement weather in the evening.

The baseball alumni tent planned for Saturday evening’s game has been cancelled due to the possibility of inclement weather, though all baseball alumni are still invited to attend the contest.

This weekend’s series is a crucial one for both JMU and Towson. The sixth-place Tigers are currently three games ahead of the Dukes and have sole possession of the final spot in the six-team Colonial Athletic Association Tournament with just four weekends of CAA play remaining. The three-game series gets started on Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. and wraps up on Sunday afternoon with a 2 p.m. contest.
