Interstate 81 lane closures in Rockbridge County Sept. 30-Oct. 3

road-work-headerThe Virginia Department of Transportation has scheduled lane closures for drainage work on northbound Interstate 81 in Rockbridge County as follows:

  • Nighttime work on September 30 will be completed using center and left lane closures between mile marker 195 and 196, 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Daytime work on October 1 and 2 will close the left lane between mile marker 197 and 199, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each night.
  • Daytime work on October 3 will close the left lane between mile marker 200 and 201, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

All work is weather permitting.

The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties.
