Hulk Hogan, hawking his beer: ‘You want me to body slam Kamala Harris?’

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, pitching his Real American Beer at a bar in Medina, Ohio, on Monday, asked his Hulkamaniacs if he should “body slam Kamala Harris,” then made a racist gesture that he didn’t even get right.

“Is Kamala a chameleon? Is she Indian?” he asked fans at the Thirsty Cowboy, before raising his left hand and saying, “How.”

In case you’re missing out on what he did there, he mistook Harris’ mother being a native of India for her being a Native American.

“I’m going to get heat for that one, brother. That was not me, that was the beers talking,” Hogan said.

WWE reinstated Hogan, 71, to its Hall of Fame in 2018 after having cut ties with him in 2015, that move resulting from the emergence of an audio recording from 2006 on which Hogan used the n-word while referring to his daughter’s love life.

The recording came up during the court trial in a case brought by Hogan against the website Gawker over its web publication of a sex tape involving Hogan and Heather Clem, the wife of Hogan’s then-best friend Todd Clem, the radio shock jock Bubba the Love Sponge.

That suit was funded by billionaire Peter Thiel, who, as it happens, hired JD Vance to work at his investment firm in 2017, donated $15 million to Vance’s Ohio Senate campaign in 2022, and introduced Vance to Donald Trump.

Small world, ain’t it?

It does get a little smaller: Linda McMahon, the former CEO of WWE, was named by Trump last week to serve as the co-chair of his presidential transition team.

McMahon, you may remember, served as the administrator of the Small Business Administration under Trump from 2017-2019 before leaving to become the chair of a pro-Trump super PAC.

Closing the circle, Hogan spoke at the Republican National Convention last month, calling Trump his “hero” and saying that the former president would bring “America back together, one real American at a time.”

“Let Trumpmania run wild, brother!” Hogan said, to loud cheers from the convention crowd. “Let Trumpmania rule again! Let Trumpmania make America great again!”

From that at the RNC, we got this from Hogan at the Thirsty Cowboy:

“You want me to body slam somebody? You want me to body slam Kamala Harris? I said, do you want me to body slam Kamala Harris? You want me to drop the leg on Kamala?”

It’s not much in terms of being an actual threat, but you can expect the Secret Service to be in touch anyway, just to rattle the Hulkster’s cage.
