Kalen DeBoer came to Alabama with high expectations but the Crimson Tide ultimately stumbled their way to a 9-4 season. There were some bright spots though, including a win over No. 2 Georgia and a 29-point blowout win against No. 15 LSU.

In Year 2, the Crimson Tide have all the necessary talent to make a legitimate national title run. Alabama has an offensive line loaded with NFL-caliber talent, which should help the Crimson Tide win the battle in the trenches against FSU. Former five-star prospect Ty Simpson will finally get a chance to start and his life will be made much easier by one of the top receiving corps in the country. Led by standout sophomore Ryan Williams, Alabama has the protection and playmakers to help Simpson settle in comfortably under center. Add in a top-tier defense and this game could turn out to be a blowout.
