baltimore oriolesThe Baltimore Orioles are in freefall. Houston defeated the O’s for the third night in a row, winning 5-3 on Sunday, to take a weekend series in Camden Yards.

Dallas Keuchel (8-12, 4.64 ERA, 1.28 WHIP) held the Orioles to two runs on five hits in eight brilliant innings, striking out seven and walking one.

Mark Trumbo (.255/.309/.533, 37 HR, 90 RBI) hit a solo homer in the ninth to inch Baltimore closer, but Ken Giles eventually held on to record his third save.

Yovani Gallardo (4-5, 5.08 ERA, 1.59 ERA) took the loss, giving up four runs, three earned, on seven hits in seven innings, striking out three and walking three.

The O’s (67-56), who have lost six of their last eight, are two and a half games back of Toronto (70-54) in the AL East.
