hhva heroesHearing Healthcare of Virginia is sponsoring a Free Hearing Screening Day on Saturday, May 3, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at its six locations across the Shenandoah Valley and Central Virginia – Charlottesville, Covington, Culpeper, Fishersville, Harrisonburg and Lexington.

The Free Hearing Screening Day is being held in conjunction with Better Hearing and Speech Month, which raises awareness of how hearing loss affects 36 million American adults and how to learn to recognize the early signs of hearing problems.

The Free Hearing Screening Day events at Hearing Healthcare of Virginia will provide an opportunity for members of the community to come out and have a free hearing screening, along with food, giveaways and door prizes.

As part of the Community Event day, Hearing Healthcare of Virginia is creating a hearing aid donation drive to support our Non-Profit Hospice program.   If you or someone you know has a pair of hearing aids that are able to be donated please drop off at one of the Hearing Healthcare of Virginia locations. These donated hearing aids will go to support the local Hospice programs in the areas for those individuals to enjoy hearing their loved ones during this difficult time.

No appointments are necessary for the free hearing screenings, and walk-ins are welcome.
