Harrisonburg: Red Root and Co. Herb House opens Friday evening on Virginia Avenue

Red Root & Co. is opening the Red Root & Co. Herb House in Harrisonburg, Va. The Herb House will allow local residents and visitors to enjoy the same exceptional products that have already been available online and in other select locations in one specialized location.

Red Root & Co. is a holistic company that specializes in handcrafting products with locally-sourced, organic and fair-trade ingredients that boost your immune system, support your digestive system and make you feel your finest. The store will open on Friday, October 25, at 919 Virginia Avenue, Harrisonburg, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Beyond featuring the same products available online and in other select locations, the Herb House storefront will also have some new features, including an “Ask the Herbalist” segment every other Wednesday, specialty classes offered throughout the year, and unique seasonal offerings.

“I am excited to share my passion for herbalism and handcrafted products that promote well-being with the Harrisonburg community. This has been a dream of mine for years and I am grateful for our team’s hard work and dedication. I cannot wait to see the impact our new Herb House will have on the community,” said Red Root & Co. Owner Corey Macdonald.

Macdonald has been awarded the SWaM certification by the Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity. The recognition highlights her dedication and commitment to Red Root & Co., and acknowledges her passion for crafting comprehensive wellness goods to enhance well-being.
