Freezing Rain Advisory in Shenandoah Valley, Central Virginia Monday

snow-plow-headerThe National Weather Service has issued a Freezing Rain Advisory for Augusta County, Staunton, Waynesboro and into Rockingham, Albemarle and Nelson for Monday morning.

The Watch is in effect from 6 a.m. to noon Monday. The precipitation may start as snow and sleet before changing to freezing rain during the morning hours.

The freezing precipitation could continue into Monday night as temperatures are expected to hover in the lower 30s throughout the day.
