Former Clinton press secretary to speak in Staunton

Chris Graham

The Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library is pleased to announce the continuation of last fall’s lecture series “A Conversation With.” This year’s guest will be Mike McCurry President Clinton’s former White House Press Secretary. Currently, Mike is the national Co-Chair for the Presidential Debates Program between President Obama and Governor Romney leading up to the November 6th election.

In addition to the excitement of the election results, the conversation this year will be between Mr. McCurry and his former Princeton roommate, Jerry Cox. Mr. Cox was the legal counsel for Republican Senator John Danforth while Mr. McCurry served in the Clinton Administration. With Mr. Cox, a WWPL Trustee, leading the way, this promises to be an exciting and informative evening.

“A Conversation with Mike McCurry” is FREE and will take place in the auditorium at Robert E. Lee High School in Staunton, Virginia on Thursday, November 8th beginning at 7:30PM.
