libertyThe 15th season of Big South football kicks off Tuesday when the conference hosts Big South Football Media Day at Marriott Fairfield Inn & Suites in downtown Charlotte, N.C.

Fans wishing to follow the event can do so through various forums, including Liberty Flames Athletics’ social media accounts, a video recap on LibertyFlames.com and a live broadcast on ESPN3, via the Big South Network.

The Liberty Flames Sports Network will be on site, providing social media coverage through the Liberty Flames Athletics’ social media accounts. LFSN’s coverage will begin on Monday night with Facebook Live updates during a Big South Network video shoot (7:15 to 9:30 p.m.).

LFSN will continue to provide Facebook Live coverage throughout the day on Tuesday as Flames Head Coach Turner Gill, junior quarterback Stephon Masha and senior linebacker Dexter Robbins proceed through a series of print, radio, television and video interviews.

The Big South Network will broadcast interviews with each team’s head coach and student-athletes in attendance as part of a live show, hosted by Mike Hogewood, starting at approximately 1:30 p.m. on ESPN3 (Liberty’s segment begins at 2 p.m.).

As part of the event, the conference will announce its annual preseason poll and preseason all-conference teams in a video presentation. The preseason poll and preseason all-conference teams will first be posted on the Big South’s social media platforms, and later available online at www.BigSouthSports.com starting at 1:30 p.m., on Tuesday.

Fans can also follow Football Media Day on Twitter using #BSCMediaDay, and can begin to submit questions in advance for each team via that hashtag as well as on Facebook at www.facebook.com/bigsouthsports. All submitted questions will be answered on both platforms throughout the day, along with various posts on the Big South’s Snapchat and Instagram accounts.
