East Rockingham Senior Center held a VPAS fundraiser on May 20. Chick-fil-A provided donated coupons for breakfast items that dining guests could “spin to win” on their game board. Each spin cost a .50 cent donation to VPAS and every spin won a prize. Additionally 10% of inside sales (5 – 7 pm) was donated to VPAS. Barry Elwood and Allison Morris, ERSC Local Council members, assisted with the event. The total amount raised for the evening totaled $145.14!
For the FY 2013-14 budget each HR Senior Center Local Council was asked to raise $2000 for VPAS. This event was the second fundraiser ERSC Local Council has held to meet this goal.
