Daniel Doyle, with a successful wedding and event photography studio in Queens, New York, has opened a second studio in Pleasantville, Ohio. Doyle wanted to return to his roots. Doyle, a native of Pleasantville, attended Ohio State University and majored in art. He moved to Queens, as a major metropolitan center, where he could begin his career. He is excited to return home, as a seasoned professional, and add the beauty of the natural world in Pleasantville to his photography once again.

Wedding and Event Photography

Daniel DoyleDoyle loves to photograph events because he loves to capture the spontaneity of the moment. For that reason, he primarily focuses upon wedding and event photography. He likes to keep his options open, though. Having a willingness for the serendipitous helped him to have the privilege of photographing the birth of a couple’s first child. It was one of the most moving experiences in his career.

Doyle has witnessed a change in the past 20 years in that wedding customers are much more savvy and expect more value from their outlay for photography. For this reason, he customizes packages for clients to satisfy their budgets and tastes. For example, the San Francisco Chronicle speaks of how some wedding customers prefer romantic portraits that have a soft focus, while other couples prefer wedding photography that is in-the-moment and has a journalistic quality.

Doyle likes to explore and dabble in new styles in his free time, constantly providing a wider range of offerings for his clients. He also likes to include a range of photos in color, black and white and even sepia. Doyle says the beauty of shooting everything in Camera Raw mode is that he and the couple can look at the results after the wedding and decide which pictures be printed in which colors and styles.

Other Facets of Doyle’s Services

Doyle has also achieved recognition in the New York entertainment scene, with his unique head shots of actors and musicians. He also has videography services that include events and musical performances as well as experience in capturing art openings.

Always Learning and Evolving

Ever the consummate professional, Doyle uses only the best photographic equipment and supplies in his work. He also has the natural curiosity of someone who loves his work and is constantly learning and evolving his technique in response to more he learns about his craft. His goal is to provide his customers top-notch photographs that capture the emotions and personalities of special days in their lives.

According to Expert Photography, one of the trickiest parts of wedding photography is lighting. Photographers begin with indoor photos, move outside and then often return indoors for the reception. It is for this reason that professionals such as Doyle should be employed, rather than the family’s budding adolescent photographer or novice enthusiasts. Experts take measurements of lighting ahead of the event, anticipate settings and plan for other lighting aids they will need. Their experience helps them to quickly adapt and anticipate to changing lighting conditions.

Training the Next Generation

With 20 years of experience as a photographer, Doyle also makes time to train others who have a desire to capture experiences in stills and videos. He believes that his art coursework from college helped him to develop a great sense of design and composition, and he tries to instill these ideas in his students at his studios.

Daniel Doyle Pleasantville photographer is excited to be able to take all of the skills he has developed and honed over the years and open a new studio at home where he has his roots. He knows the area and the market for wedding and event photography. He is eager to provide state-of-the-art wedding photography for his community as he has for so many years in the Queens area of New York.
