Clown show | Update: ABC suspends Jimmy Kimmel over Charlie Kirk

Update: Wednesday, 7:12 p.m. It’s time to boycott ABC, which announced late in the day today that it is no longer going to air “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” after Nexstar, which owns dozens of ABC affiliate stations across the country, said it would preempt the show “for the foreseeable future.”

Note to readers: We will no longer be providing TV listings for ACC Football or ACC Basketball games on networks under the Disney umbrella, which include ESPN, ESPN2 and ACC Network, or Nexstar, which includes The CW.

That represents our tiny protest.

Let’s take on the FCC commissioner, Brendan Carr, who wants ABC to discipline Jimmy Kimmel for stating the obvious, that the alleged shooter in the Charlie Kirk murder, Tyler Robinson, is a MAGA.

Kimmel, Carr told MAGA podcaster Benny Johnson – who, incidentally, we learned last year is on the Kremlin’s propaganda payroll – had played “into that narrative that this was somehow a MAGA or Republican-motivated person,” which Carr said was “really, really sick.”

What got Carr’s panties in a bunch while talking with the Russia dupe podcaster on Wednesday was Kimmel saying on the Monday episode of his late-night talk show that “we hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them.”

What MAGA is trying to tell us is that, in fact, Robinson is not one of them, but is, rather, a “leftist” – based on, well, he supposedly used phrases associated with Antifa, though the phrases in question are from a video game popular with MAGA kids; that he referenced Kirk’s “hatred” in text messages, as we know that Robinson was a follower of a rival MAGA influencer, Nick Fuentes, who actively engaged his followers in what he called “wars” with Kirk and his followers; and, smoking gun alert, that Robinson reportedly is in a relationship with a trans roommate.

I’ll bite there – the trans thing isn’t the smoking gun these chodes think it is.

Seriously, here in Virginia, we have a hardcore MAGA guy running for lieutenant governor who also happens to be gay.

Are we to believe that John Reid is a “leftist” simply because he has a boyfriend?

“Broadcasters are entirely different than people who use other forms of communication. They have a license granted by us at the FCC, and what comes with it is an obligation to operate in the public interest,” Carr told Benny Johnson, a MAGA podcaster who, again, is on the Kremlin’s payroll.

Let me do something in the public interest here – Brendan Carr is an assclown.
