Climate action meeting, activist training, next week in Staunton

Contributors

environment climate changeJoin the Chesapeake Climate Action Network for a climate action team meeting to learn how to stop dangerous fracked-gas pipelines and put Virginia on track to be a regional leader in stemming the tide of climate change.

The best defense is a good offense, and the best way to prevent new pipelines is to fight for more clean energy instead — so more pipelines aren’t needed.

At the end of the meeting, organizers will provide an activist training so everyone will leave with a useful skill to bring back to their communities.

What: Climate Action Team Meeting and Activist Training – Shenandoah Valley
When: Monday, August 13th 6:30 – 8:30 pm
