City of Waynesboro launching new digital payment system on Nov. 18

The City of Waynesboro will launch a new digital payment system on Monday, Nov. 18.

The new system will allow users to register or pay as a guest. There will also be an option to set up an auto draft for accounts.

The city will accept all major credit cards online or in person with a 3.65 percent or $2.50 minimum fee. Apple Pay and Google Pay will also be accepted in person with the same fee.

E-check payment will also be accepted online for a fee of $1.

An automated phone system will also help businesses and residents make payments.
