Cinderella Project to host inaugural high school fashion show at Valley Mall

Rebecca Barnabi

High school teens from the Valley will be featured in a first-of-its-kind fashion show at the Valley Mall in Harrisonburg on Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 1 to 3 p.m.

The show will be held in the JCPenney Court and feature back-to-school and homecoming fashions modeled by students, Cinderella Project volunteers and Miss America’s VA Little Sisters.

The inaugural fashion show is a collaboration between the Cinderella Project led by Rhonda Howdyshell; the Valley Mall led by general manager Cortney Carderelli; and Miss America’s VA Little Sisters program led by Dale Bradshaw. The Community Foundation of the Central Blue Ridge provided funding to support the program.

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, for runway training or to model in the show, email [email protected].
