The broadcast team of Chris Graham and Kris Neal will bring the play-by-play action of Waynesboro Generals baseball to fans this summer.
Graham, the editor of AugustaFreePress.com, a Waynesboro-based news website, has been calling Generals games since 2009. The former host of the syndicated sports radio show “ACC Nation” and WVPT’s “Virginia Viewpoints,” Graham will be the play-by-play man on the Generals Game of the Week on WSVA-550AM.
Neal is the host of WKDW-900AM’s “Country Club” and a long-time veteran of the local radio scene. Neal will be the play-by-play man on the Generals’ Internet broadcasts this summer.
Graham and Neal will be joined by Gerald Harman in the booth. Harman is the recruiting coordinator for the Generals, and will provide color commentary on both the WSVA and Internet broadcasts.
“We’ve got a great team put together to bring fans the action of Generals baseball. It should be a fun summer, both in the booth and for fans listening at home,” said Graham, who is also a member of the board of directors of Waynesboro Amateur Athletics, the non-profit parent of Generals baseball.
