A 46-year-old man died when he was ejected from his vehicle in a crash in Carroll County early Sunday morning.
George W. Houck, of Bassett, died at the scene on Route 58. The single-vehicle fatal crash occurred at 1:29 a.m.
According to Virginia State Police, his Toyota Venza was heading westbound near Shaners Way when the vehicle ran off of the right side of the road, struck a culvert and an embankment and overturned multiple times.
Houck was not wearing a seatbelt.
The crash remains under investigation.
