Call for Artists for 2013 Art in the Park

AFP

saaclogoThe Staunton Augusta Art Center announces a Call for Entries for the 2013 Art in the Park at Gypsy Hill.

This will be the Staunton Augusta Art Center 47th presentation of the event, a two-day art festival which is among the oldest of its type in the country.  Art in the Park features a juried exhibition of quality art and craft, live music at the bandstand every hour, a variety of food vendors, and children’s art activities.  The intimate, tree-lined setting in Staunton’s beautiful, historic Gypsy Hill Park allows room for a limited number of artists who are encouraged to submit their applications early.

The date of the event is Memorial Day weekend, May 25 and 26 and artists’ applications are due by April 1.

For more information, contact the Staunton Augusta Art Center, a 501(C)3 non-profit arts organization, at 540.885.2028 or [email protected].
