Contributors

EScoverStaunton author Clifford Garstang, winner of the 2013 Library of Virginia Literary Award for Fiction, will present his new book, an anthology of short stories set all over the world, at a book release party at Staunton’s Black Swan Books & Music, at 6pm on Friday October 3.

Refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to the public.

Garstang is the editor of Everywhere Stories: Short Fiction from a Small Planet, a collection of 20 stories by 20 authors set in 20 countries that explore the theme “It’s a dangerous world.” Garstang, who is also the editor of Prime Number Magazine, chose the stories from among 650 submissions. Contributors Teresa Hudson (Richmond) and Jay Kauffmann (Crozet) will be present to read excerpts from their stories, set in Russia and Germany, respectively.
