The Central Virginia Blues Society will take the Sunspots Pavilion stage in Downtown Staunton on Saturday, June 27 at 11:30 a.m. That evening, Heifetz Summer Institute will open its season with a performance starting at 7:30 p.m.
Both concerts are free and open to the public. Picnics, non-glass containers, and folding chairs are encouraged. No alcohol is allowed. These are some of the first concerts to be offered on the new downtown venue, built last year by Doug Sheridan of Sunspots Studios with the help of a grant obtained by the Staunton Downtown Development Association.
The Pavilion is located in the historic Wharf district on the corner of South Lewis and Byers streets across from Sunspots Studios.
