Adam Jones scored on an error by Rockies reliever Jordan Lyles to give the Baltimore Orioles their second straight walkoff win, 3-2, in extra innings on Monday.
Lyles (2-3, 6.03 ERA, 1.72 WHIP) misplayed a one-out grounder off the bat of Manny Machado in the bottom of the 10th.
Jones (.265/.309/.437, 17 HR, 56 RBI), who had two hits and two RBI, had singled with one out, and advanced to third on a single by Jonathan Schoop (.296/.327/.513, 17 HR, 58 RBI).
Chaz Roe (1-0, 3.86 ERA, 1.43 WHIP) picked up the win in relief for the O’s (58-40).
