Trumbo’s homer, his 15th of the season, came after a Chris Davis RBI double had broken a 3-3 tie.
The O’s (27-19) led 3-0 in the first after an RBI single by Manny Machado and a two-run single by Jonathan Schoop.
Mike Napoli and Francisco Lindor each homered for the Indians (25-21).
Dylan Bundy (1-1, 4.74 ERA) vultured the win in relief after starter Mike Wright was lifted with two outs in the fifth.
Wright gave up three runs on six hits in four and two-thirds, striking out four and walking two.
Zach Britton pitched a 1-2-3 ninth for his 13th save.
