Everybody homered for Baltimore Thursday night in a 13-5 win over Houston. OK, not everybody. It only seemed that way.
J.J. Hardy and Chris Davis each went deep twice, and Mark Trumbo and Manny Machado added to the six-dinger barrage, as the Orioles (67-53) pounded out 18 hits.
Kevin Gausman (4-10, 4.11 ERA, 1.32 WHIP) got the win on a subpar night, giving up five runs, four earned, on seven hits in six and two-thirds, striking out eight and walking one.
Trumbo (.256/.308/.528, 35 HR, 88 RBI) hit his MLB-leading 35th homer, a three-run shot in the first. Hardy (.278/.313/.430, 7 HR, 32 RBI) was 3-for-4 with three runs scored and three RBI.
Hyun-Soo Kim (.329/.406/.449, 4 HR, 14 RBI) was 4-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI.
