Update: Missing Augusta County man safely located, per sheriff’s office

Update: Saturday, 10:40 p.m. Samuel Kamden has been safely located, according to a report from the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office.


First report: Saturday, 8 a.m. An Augusta County man has been reported missing after his family reports he was last seen 10 days ago.

Samuel Kamden, 64, was last seen at his Waynesboro residence on Feb. 4.

The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance locating him.

He is described as a Black male, 210 pounds, 6 feet tall with black hair and brown eyes.

According to the ACSO, his whereabouts are unknown.

He could be driving a White Dodge Ram 4×4 truck with Virginia tags TCC 6734.
