Update | Albemarle County Police locates missing 90-year-old Crozet man

Update: Tuesday, 3:55 p.m. Good news, and that was quick: Mr. Vance has already been safely located.


First report: Tuesday, 3:48 p.m. Albemarle County Police are seeking information on the whereabouts of a missing person, 90-year-old Henry Vance.

Vance was last seen in the 500 block of Crimson Street in Crozet around 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Vance is described as 5 feet 7 inches in height with gray hair and blue eyes. He walks with a slight shuffle in his gait.

Vance has dementia, and his disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety.

Anyone with information on Vance’s location is encouraged to contact the Albemarle County Police Department at 434-977-9041.
