ACC announces kickoff times for first three UVA football home games

uva-logo-new2As part of the announcement of early-season football television selections, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced today start times and broadcast originations for Virginia’s first three games of the 2014 season.

Virginia’s season opener against UCLA at Scott Stadium will kickoff at noon (Aug. 30) and be televised by ESPN. UVa’s home game against Richmond on Sept. 6 will start at 3:30 p.m. and be webcast on ESPN3. The Cavaliers welcome ACC newcomer Louisville to Scott Stadium on Sept. 13. The game will be carried by the ACC Network and start at 12:30 p.m.

After the first three weeks of the season, game times and TV network selections will be announced weekly with the ACC’s television partners making their choices utilizing a 12-day advance notice beginning Monday, Sept. 8 (for games on Saturday, Sept. 20). ACC television partners also reserve the right to use a six-day selection notice on a limited basis during the season.

Virginia football season tickets, mini-packages and single-game tickets for the Cavaliers’ seven-game home schedule are currently on sale.

Mini-Packages and Season Tickets
The three-game Orange mini-package includes Virginia’s home games against UCLA (Aug. 30), Louisville (Sept. 13) and Pitt (Oct. 4). The Orange mini-package is offered at four price levels: $85, $100, $130, and $145.
The four-game Blue mini-package features UVa’s home games against Richmond (Sept. 6), Kent State (Sept. 27), North Carolina (Oct. 25) and Miami (Nov. 22). The Blue mini-package is also offered at four price levels: $95, $125, $155, and $175.

Season tickets are on sale at four price levels from $181-$316. Season and mini-package tickets offer preferred seat locations in each price level.

Single-Game Tickets
Tickets for the games against UCLA, Louisville, Pitt, North Carolina, and Miami are $30, $35, $45, and $50. Tickets for Virginia’s home games against Richmond and Kent State are $20, $30, $35, and $40. Single-game tickets are available in both the lower and upper levels of Scott Stadium.

Family Package Tickets
Family Package tickets are offered for $80 for the games against Richmond and Kent State and $120 for the games against UCLA, Louisville, Pitt, North Carolina, and Miami. Each family package includes four upper level end zone tickets and four concessions vouchers valued at $8 each that may be used towards any concessions purchase at Scott Stadium. Additional Family Package tickets above the minimum of four may be purchased for $20 each for the games against Richmond and Kent State and $30 each for the games against UCLA, Louisville, Pitt, North Carolina, and Miami.

Parking
Season parking passes are available for the Emmet/Ivy and UVa Health System parking garages for $49 each. Both garages are within a 15-minute walk of Scott Stadium. Single-game parking passes are also available for $10 each when purchased in advance for the Emmet/Ivy and UVa Health System parking garages. Game day parking in those garages is $15.

Fans may purchase tickets and parking online at VirginiaSports.com or by calling the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-542-8821 or 434-924-8821 weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Season tickets and mini-ticket packages can also be ordered in person by visiting the Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium weekdays between 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
