The 49ers led 8-4 three minutes in, but UVA seized the game with an extended 19-2 run over a 9:57 stretch of the first half, and led 41-23 at the break.

A 17-1 run over a 4:51 stretch of the second half blew the game open.

Marial Shayok had a game-high 17 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the field to go with five assists. London Perrantes had 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting. Devon Hall added 12 points, all in the second half, on 4-of-5 shooting from three-point range.
