2015 Virginia Truck Driving Championships to be held this week in Chester

truckFor over 50 years, the Virginia Trucking Association has conducted the annual Virginia Truck Driving Championships to showcase the safe driving skills and professionalism of Virginia’s best truck drivers in a safety-oriented competition.

The 2015 Championships will be held April 17-18 at the Con-way Freight Terminal located at 11801 Old Stage Road in Chester, Virginia.

Friday, April 17
8:30 a.m. Field Course set up – Con-way Freight
10:00 a.m. Registration – Con-way Freight
11:00 a.m. Course briefing
11:00 a.m. News Media/Public Officials Driving Event
11:30 a.m. Equipment Defects Test – Con-way Freight
12:30 p.m. Official Opening – 2015 Virginia Truck Driving Championships
1:00 p.m. Field Tests – Con-way Freight
5:00 p.m. Written Test – Keystone Truck & Tractor Museum
6:15 p.m. Dinner – Keystone Truck & Tractor Museum

Saturday, April 18
8:15 a.m. Field Course Walk-Through
9:00 a.m. until Field Tests Continued – Con-way Freight
Awards Ceremony following conclusion of field tests
