Emmett Toms of Dominion Virginia Power presents a $10,000 donation to Waynesboro Downtown Development Inc.’s Executive Director Kimberly Watters and Center for Coldwaters Restoration intern Chelsea Swain.
The grant will be used for the construction of the Center for Coldwaters Restoration Venture Model: a project information center and demonstration tank. WDDI also received a $25,000 grant from Virginia Main Street for this project.
The project supports WDDI’s economic restructuring goals of developing the community’s potential as an outdoor recreational tourism destination.
