Greyson Lambert not listed on UVA injury report: Who starts at QB vs. UNC?

UVaHelmet_1Greyson Lambert was not listed on the UVA football injury report released on Thursday, meaning the opening-day starting quarterback is considered fully available for action on Saturday against UNC.

Lambert, a redshirt sophomore, started the first four games of the 2014 season, completing 64 percent of his passes (63-of-97) for 564 yards, two touchdowns, four interceptions and a 112.4 passer-efficiency rating before going down late in the 41-33 loss at BYU on Sept. 20 with an ankle injury. Fellow redshirt sophomore Matt Johns has started the last three games, and Johns, who also saw time in each of the first four games, has put up good numbers in his time under center, completing 55.8 percent of his passes (82-of-147) for 1,012 yards, eight touchdowns, five interceptions and a 124.8 passer rating.
