The Eastern Mennonite University men’s basketball team is NCAA Tournament-bound for the first time in school history.

The Royals (22-4) will also serve as hosts for a pool of games on opening weekend. EMU will play Centre College (Danville, Kent.) in the first round on Friday. Centre was 18-8 in the 2009-2010 regular season.

Eastern Mennonite will also host Wilmington (Ohio) (21-7) and Lycoming (21-6) in a first-round game Friday. First-round game times will be 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., although who plays at which time has yet to be determined.

The winner of the two games will play each other in Yoder Arena Saturday evening at 7 p.m.
