“I am determined to make my family and my teammates, along with the university and its fans, proud. I plan on helping Virginia Tech to another successful season,” Ore said today, confirming his decision to withdraw his name from consideration from the 2008 NFL draft.

Ore had filed paperwork with the NFL to have his name added to the draft list earlier this week.

The rising senior rushed for 992 yards and 10 touchdowns for the Hokies in 2007.
