Augusta Free Press assists Bridge Christian Church with rollout of new name

bridge churchBridge Christian Church contracted with Augusta Free Press to assist with the rollout of its new name, which became official on Sept. 1.

The former Blue Ridge Church of Christ, founded in 1995, voted earlier this year to change its name to better reflect “the relationship of the church to the community, the real connection of the body of Christ, the Lord Himself, and the community,”  said Stacey Burkholder, the church’s connections pastor.

AFP helped Bridge Christian Church get coverage in the local news media to publicize the name change, and staffer Crystal Graham worked with staff at the church on a multimedia campaign including messaging on a billboard, local theater screens, a mail piece that was sent out to Fishersville residents, yard signs and a campaign of daily posts to the church’s Facebook page.

Augusta Free Press, based in Waynesboro, Va., is a full-service marketing and design firm that offers website design, graphic design, video and audio production, public relations and advertising services to clients across the United States.
